How to Use the Word Scramble Solver

Each letter from your input can only be used once per word (unless it appears multiple times in your input).
For example, if you enter the letters "RETLAS", the solver will find words like "STALER", "ALERTS", "ALTERS", "ASTER", "LATER", "STARE", "TEARS", "RATES", "TALES", "LASER", "SEAL", "SALE", "STAR", "REST", and many more. Results are displayed with their Scrabble point values so you can quickly identify the highest-scoring options.
Using Wildcards
If you have blank tiles or unknown letters, use the question mark (?) character as a wildcard. The solver will try all 26 letters in that position. For instance, entering "CA?" will find CAB, CAD, CAM, CAN, CAP, CAR, CAT, and other three-letter words. Wildcards are worth 0 points in the Scrabble scoring, just like blank tiles in the actual game.
Anagram Mode
Enable anagram mode to find words that use ALL of your input letters exactly once. This is useful when you know the word length and need to find all possible arrangements. For example, entering "LISTEN" in anagram mode will find "LISTEN", "SILENT", "TINSEL", "ENLIST", and "INLETS".
Scrabble Letter Point Values
The solver calculates Scrabble scores using the official letter values:

- 5 points: K
- 8 points: J, X
- 10 points: Q, Z

Word Game Strategy Tips
Finding words is just the first step. Here are strategies to maximize your score in word games:
- Look for words that land on premium squares (double/triple letter and word scores). A short word on a triple word score can outscore a long word on regular squares.
- Use high-value letters (J, X, Q, Z) early when premium squares are still available. Holding them too long can cost you points.
- Learn two-letter words. Valid two-letter words like QI, XI, ZA, JO, and AX let you play parallel to existing words, scoring in multiple directions at once.
- Keep a balanced rack. Try to maintain a mix of vowels and consonants. A rack of all vowels or all consonants severely limits your options.
- Consider the board position. Sometimes a lower-scoring word that blocks your opponent from a premium square is strategically better than a higher-scoring word that opens one up.
- Save S tiles for strategic plurals. Adding an S to an existing word while forming a new word perpendicular to it gives you points for both words.
