How the Extension Works

When you use Session Manager Pro:

Session data (tab URLs, titles, and metadata) is saved locally on your device
All saved sessions remain in Chrome's local storage
No data is ever transmitted to external servers
Auto-save backups run locally at your configured intervals

Permissions Explained

tabs: Required to read tab URLs and titles when saving sessions, query open tabs across windows, create tabs when restoring sessions, and detect pinned tab status.

storage: Required to persistently save session data locally, store user preferences, and persist data between browser restarts.

sessions: Required to access recently closed tabs for recovery features, restore windows with original tab order, and provide crash recovery functionality.

alarms: Required to schedule automatic session backups at user-configured intervals for crash protection.

Data Storage

All data is stored locally using Chrome's storage API:

Saved sessions (tab URLs, titles, metadata)
User preferences and settings
Auto-save configuration

This data never leaves your browser and is not accessible to us.

Third-Party Services

Session Manager Pro does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or tracking tools.
