Getting started

  1. Install and pin the extension

    Open the official Chrome Web Store listing, add the extension, then pin it from Chrome’s Extensions menu.

  2. Choose what stays active

    Open the extension settings and whitelist the sites you do not want suspended. Save work in forms before testing suspension.

  3. Suspend and restore

    Use the extension controls to suspend an inactive tab. Return to the suspended tab and restore the page when you need it.

Tab access and license checks

The extension uses browser tab access to suspend and restore pages. Review the permissions on the Chrome Web Store listing before installation.

Activating a paid license contacts Zovo’s verification service. Suspension is not a backup: save unsent forms and other work before suspending a page.

Questions before installing

Is Tab Suspender Pro free?

Core tab suspension and restoration are free. The free version includes a whitelist of up to five sites and three Focus Mode uses. A Zovo Pro or Lifetime membership removes those two limits.

Will it save a fixed amount of memory?

Memory savings depend on the pages you have open and how Chrome manages them. There is no guaranteed percentage or fixed amount. Test it with your own tabs and check Chrome’s Task Manager.

Are the three Focus Mode uses a subscription trial?

No. They are three uses of that feature in the free extension, not a timed Pro subscription. Core suspension remains available after those uses are spent.

How do I activate Pro?

Choose a plan on Zovo’s pricing page. After purchase, enter your license key in the extension’s activation controls. Use the same membership across the eight included extensions.
